The Late Review: The Mummy 3

The Late Review: The Mummy 3

I may have made a terrible mistake. The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor could have been a really good popcorn movie but it really doesnt amount too much. The problem with the movie is its script: while its got some twists and some really cool ideas theyre poorly executed. The story comes across loose and disjointed, characters get lost in the action and nothing is as exciting as it should be.Brendan Fraser is surprisingly able as a lead and even though hes got some clunky o

The Day After Tomorrow

The controversial issue of global warming is dominating our world. Most of you people turn your blind side to the issue every time it comes up. My question is why? Had a ball this weekend, the upside is that I will be seeing him next week as its Gregs birthday. A bonus for me and for Tyron as w

Movie Review: Tell No One

The writer/director Guillaume Canet is a well-known French actor who starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach, but this film more than makes up for that one. Alex Beck is a pediatrician who's wife Margot was murdered 8 years ago at a secluded lake they visited yearly. When two bodies are found that are linked to Margot the police reopen the case. Simultaneously, Alex receives an an
